How does SplitEase reduce the number of payments?

In a busy group, people can end up owing each other in circles. SplitEase can work out the smallest set of payments that clears every balance.

Steps

  1. Open the group and tap Settle up.
  2. Switch from Per person to Optimized.
  3. Make the payments listed and record each one.

Per person shows what you owe each person directly. Both views settle the same total.
